I have 2 VISAs and a personal loan I want to consolidate into 1 payment. I don’t really want to lose one of the VISAs b/c it is in connection with my bank and tied to my checking. Also the personal loan is from a company that I am in very good standings with. Is there a way I can consolidate without losing the one VISA and reputation w/ the loan company?

With the current economy, and my work hours being cut, I’m in need of some serious credit card help. It’s now a decision between the credit cards and housing/food. If I could reduce my debt and make significantly lower monthly payments, it would be a life saver! Do any of these companies really do what they say? Also, what would be the impact on my credit ( as opposed to bankruptcy ), and how long would it take for this to drop off my credit bureau. I’d appreciate any advice.

i am mortgage loan officer and have a client who needs to take out a loan/refinance for debt consolidation and home improvements. he only owes a little over $20,000.00 on his home and it appraised at $220,000.00. he wants to borrow $100,000.00, so there would still be $120,000.00 of equity left. his credit is poor, thus the need for debt consolidation. and he is disabled with a minimal monthly disabilty check. ofcourse, his wife is on title aswell, but her credit is worse, but she does have a monthly income of a very modest amount. the fact that he recieves disability does show up on his credit report, however, the dollar amount does not. what can be done for this family? are there any mortgage lenders out there that have “stated disability” a program? please respond if you are a lender that can help,or have information on the subject that could help. thank you so much.

I owe some people some money and I need a personal loan for $5000. I have a tutoring job that gives me about $200 extra a month to pay for the loan. I’m not looking for a debt consolidation company. I just want to find a bank that will give me the loan.

I’ve met with a lawyer to start to file for bankruptcy. The two main components of my debt are a car repo, which for some reason I still owe around $6000, and some payday loans, which I owe around $3000. I’m trying to find a way around bankruptcy, if any, does anyone have any ideas?

I’m looking to find a legitimate credit/debt consolidation company. I need to consolidate about $9k in unsecured debt from both credit cards and student loans. None of the payments are past due at this time.

I see alot of the credit counseling and debt consolidation ads on tv and the internet, but to me it seems these ads only target people who are past due, in collections and have creditors calling them. None of that is the case for me. I have never been late paying bills, nor do I have any bad marks on my credit. All I have basically is too much debt, and I’m trying to hurry and get rid of it! Can anyone offer any info?

looking for individuals willing to loan money for consolidation – very good credit – just looking to have one payment and get out from the strain of several different payments per month – in order to get ahead. Never late on payments or delinquent on anything. Could be a good investment if there is just someone willing to loan the money for about 10 years – would gladly have a legal contract for this transaction
