Debt Consolidation. Where can I go for help?

There are a few bills that I have which I would like to consolidate to just have one bill. One of those includes a personal loan. Are there any reputable debt consolidation companies out there that may be able to help me with this? If so, please let me know.

I cannot offer you a company name buttttt… I can tell you what to ask when you do sign up for one.
I signed up for one and they actually made things worse. I hope you dont go through this.
When you sign up for a debt consolidation they help lower your bills and combine them into one.
First,
They will combine them into one and give you a due date of when your payment will be due. (If this due date is later than what your bill due dates are… then you need to call the companies to change them. (they would charge me a late fee because my due date for the debt consolidation was after the due date of my bills with the actual companies.) I finally realized this after being charged from 4 different companies. They will not take the late fee off either.
Secondly,
They cannot consolidate all bills unless each company agrees to it. Two of my bill companies would not even accept the debt consolidation. Therefore, I was still stuck with more than one bill.
Check into those things before you actually sign up. It may save you money and headaches

get two extra jobs work hard pay your bills off and never go into slavery again.
CON-solidation flags your credit report for 7 years and you will be treated as you had filed bankruptcy.
Many of the Consolidation are rippoffs.

You need to do your own research to work out what is best for you. Yes, there are scams out there, but there are legitimate finance options, too. This website has some useful information.
